Caley Hartney (she/her) 

Caley Hartney is an experienced professional that has spent the first decade of her career focusing on

supporting young people; through educational opportunities, programs and pursuits, working in both the not-for-profit organizations (NPO), corporate and education (public and independent schools) sectors within Canada.

Caley served as the Executive Director for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – British

Columbia and Yukon, supporting youth with opportunities to develop into the best possible versions of themselves through achieving their Award, and leading the organization through a global pandemic and national merger. Caley brings international experience and relationships through her leadership roles at Adidas (Reebok Social Purpose Initiative – Build Our Kids Success – BOKS) and through her various positions in marketing and admissions at St. Margaret’s School. Caley has also worked across Canada as a teacher in the public education system in multiple provinces and also in the health and physical education sector (PHE Canada). Caley earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Education Degree from Queen’s University, and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the University of St. Michael’s College.

Caley lives in Victoria, British Columbia with her husband, two children and beloved Springer Spaniel (Goose).
